In recent years, with the increasing sophistication of industries, there has been a growing demand for our products in the emerging industrial UAV market. We take great pride in contributing to society by supplying components for industrial UAVs, which play essential roles in fields such as environmental conservation, disaster response and rescue, agriculture, infrastructure inspection, etc.
On the other hand, it is also widely recognized that various UAVs are being deployed in the negative aspects of today’s global situation, such as wars and conflicts. We firmly believe that the use of our products for such purposes is neither ethically nor legally acceptable.
As manufacturers of products potentially used in UAVs, we are required to engage in explanation proceess with Japanese authorities (METI:Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry) for each transaction involving foreign entities. Specifically, we are required to report the export destinations and contents of each transaction, and for certain products, even collect and report information about secondary buyers. It is an undeniable reality that security risks, such as military diversion and roundabout exports to restricted countries, are impacting even legitimate transactions involving hobby and industrial UAVs.
